Founder and CEO
Ingram Leedy has been running technology for Central Florida businesses from the same downtown Winter Haven office since 1996, when he started iThink, one of the region's first internet service providers, later sold to EarthLink. In 2001 he founded Elephant Outlook, which ran high-availability email for public companies and government agencies in the US and abroad, and he served on Microsoft's Exchange TAP team, testing new releases before they shipped.
He was a partner in Inland Fiber & Data, Winter Haven's inland data center and disaster recovery park. Protected Trust grew out of that work in 2004, and he has led it since: businesses that want someone they know running their technology, on Microsoft, set up to one standard. He built Send It Secure, the company's Microsoft-certified email encryption add-in, and in 2019 accepted Microsoft's Surface Modern Deployment Partner of the Year award on the company's behalf. He wrote Protected Trust's service philosophy, Technology Should Be Invisible. Relationships Should Be Unforgettable, which the whole team works from.
He studied computer engineering at the University of Florida and is an instrument-rated pilot, land and sea.
